Since I moved to Boulder CO a couple of months ago I have become obsessed with hiking some or all of the 53 fourteen thousand foot peaks here in Colorado.

Anyone here done any of them?

Yes. You have come to the right place. The closest one to you is Long's Peak. It is considered one of the harder ones though. If you want a couple of easy ones to start out on, I would recommend Greys and Torreys west of Georgetown. It is only about a 7 mile round trip and 2 to 3 thousand foot elevation gain. Piece of cake. It should take around 6 hours to get back to the parking lot. I have hiked 11 of them and would like to get more under my belt.:)

Nope. :)

But I've been over 14k feet on Mt Shasta, twice. You have cramp-ons and an ice axe? I'm sure at least some of them will require them.
