Hello ALL, have been on a jolly upto the Highlands of Scotland at the weekend, excellent roads and very little traffic. All of which means my 929 has had a very good workout. BUT on a couple of occasions after a very fast session with lots of hard braking when finally coming to a stop I noticed a sound as if the pads were dragging on the discs. Normally the front wheel is fine - no dragging sounds. The noise goes after a minute or 2 at rest. I have s/steel lines fitted and std pads the bikes done 6800 miles.
Any thoughts anyone, please??

Maybe the heat is causing the rotors or pads to expand a bit, and after a couple of minutes they cool enough to stop dragging? :idunno: Definitely not an expert.

Mine seem to drag a bit all the time, but until I put on new Galfer pads when I did my SS lines I just couldn’t hear it. Now the bike sounds like some kind of pissed off swarm of bees going down the road. :eyebrows:
