Hey people

I was wondering whether anyone has a decent standard map for a stock bike. I know there's the US and European maps but i'm in Oz and was looking for a map that is suited to 98 Octane fuel. I think most of the other standard maps are for lower octane fuels. Anyone out there know where there might be one?

thanks

He was talking about getting all kind of maps done so maybe you might be lucky and he might get it done while stock just to see.

It's quite expensive in OZ to get it mapped. Do'in bikes want $300 last time I called them.

Yeah, I find it hard to believe we have to fork out that kinda dough. I'm not sure of the time it takes, but if I take a bike there with the PCIII installed and the PAIR valve blocked off etc, all they need to do it plug it into the computer, sit it on the machine and then follow the fucken screen prompts. If they took me through it and let me watch and showed me how it was all done i'de be far more willing to throw my cash around (including seeing where all my cash goes). And the excuse of "oh yeah, but this dyno cost $$$ and this software cost $$$" just doesn't cut it with me.

I am getting a map done for an Arata with 12.6:1, 13.1:! a/f ratios, and also a map for an Arata with a bung. :

Just pu tmy PCIII in a few days ago. started off with the "0" map to see if I noticed anything. No. (If ever I feel that "I think there is an improvement" I count it as "no" this is to try and get around the placebo effect.

Loaded the Euro stock map. did I notice a difference? Yes. Definately smoother, easier to lay the power down, and the jerkiness is pretty much gone. have not had a chance to wind her right up, but around town it has made a noticeable difference.
