There was a thread somewhere but I can't find it, possibly on an other board speedzila or something, where one guy was messing with CBR gauges and an other who had done the reverse job with a VFR. Somehow it must work if you match the right wires to the right wires and if all sensors are compatible, but it is not as easy as plugging one to the other.
It definitely has to be from a FI Honda to an other if it possible.
There are also aftermarket gauges you can get as well but they are more expensive than used replacement ones.
Why do you want to do this? Custom project, wrecked bike, just gauge styling?
I tend to like analog gauges but this gauge is part of the RC's identity so I wouldn't change them.
