I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work just the same regardless of what bike it's on although to fit you it you may have to do some work.
I took my damper off my '98 750 when I started racing it and that definately made a difference. I could actually feel what my front tyre was doing :)

Im sure I could mount it I would have to drill and tap a hole in the frame.

But which capacity gixxer would have the best and most suited damper?
The 1k?

Has anyone ridden a gsxr with the stock damper are they any good?

I would've thought they'd all be the same.
I don't consider any damper to be good. If your bike is lively tune it out rather than simply hide the problem with a damper.

I get what your saying, I need to learn more about suspension tuning though. I just thought it would be easy to put one on as insurance after nearly hitting a van at 130 because I hit a bump and the steering started slapping from side to side (that was fun) :)

Thats exactly what they are for!! I won't race the dirt bike without one, And Its high one the list of gadgets for the streetbike!!
