I have an aftermarket "classic" round headlight that has replaced the OEM CBR 600 F3 headlight.

I'm going for the "cafe racer" look.

The aftermarket headlight housing is attached directly to the forks of my bike.

I have now had 3 light bulb failures. The bulbs do not appear to be "burning out" as there is not sign of overheating/scorching inside the bulb.

Here is a picture of the bulb that failed this morning:

Is it possible that they are just breaking from road impacts?

It's very suspicious that both main and dipped beam filaments have failed. Make sure that both filaments are not powered at the same time (e.g. due to a wiring fault) since this will cause overheating and rapid failure.

@BenelliBlade I'm pretty sure they aren't both being powered simultaneously as I can see filaments turn on/extinguish when I flip the hi/lo beam switch.

I installed the LED H4s...wow they are so much brighter. I wasn't sure the big heatsink on the back of the bulb would fit, but it tucked in just barely.
