hey knowledgable firebladers,

well I was riding today, first sign of sun in weeks and I pull to a light, when light turned green I pulled my clutch step on the gear lever and my bike dies, I pull off and try to get it in gear, I to goes to first and nuetral but my lever is floppy and my clutch lever on the clutch cover seems to wobble as well, I tried to start my bike and start it by hand, the bike didnt start.(putting the bike in first and depressing the lever) SO im thinking its the clutch, something must have broke inside. so does anyone have any insight in this situation?

thanks

Mark

The, umm, actuator rod (or something like that) has been known to break.

Have you had the clutch recall performed on your bike, Mark?  I believe it dealt with a poor design of the the actuator which upon failure would give you the results you experienced.  The original part has a hollow shaft while the replacement part has a solid and consequently stronger shaft.
