I own a Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme and I have got few problems :

1. When I start the engine, it appears like fuel is flowing somewhat fast (earlier it was a calm sound)

2. While accelerating ,I get sound from the exhaust.

3. There is uneven vibration feeling on foot rest and handle.

4. Pick up has reduced.

Distance travelled : 4100 kms

I am a new biker, I ride in cool manner . Also, I wish to know if an engine is noisy , where it's sound comes from : the engine area or exhaust ?

First, I've never heard of a CBZ so I'd have to do some research but I assume it's four stroke?
Second, has anything been done to the bike recently? Servicing, modification, crashed?
1. Do you mean the idle is higher than you're used to?
2. I don't understand. You will get sound from the exhaust whenever the engine is running. Do you mean the sound is different than it was or is there another sound that isn't the exhaust note?
3. I can't help with vibration (it's not something I notice unless it's extreme) but maybe go over the bike and make sure all the fasteners are tight and nothing has fallen off.
4. Is the maintenance up to date? Fresh oil and filter, new air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, valve clearances etc? If you raise the wheels and spin them do they spin freely?
You would need to tell us where any noises are coming from, and then we might be able to tell you what things to look for.
If this is the bike there is one thing that stands out.
Hero Honda CBZ - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"It makes use of a larger spring operated nozzle to provide a richer fuel air mixture into the engine for better acceleration."
Since I have no idea what this device is, where it is or how it works it would be worth checking it is operating correctly.
1. Ya, the rotation reading is higher than idle.

2. The sound from exhaust is diff. and is like bursting pulses in low gears(while accelerating) .

4. The bike is regularly serviced and engine oil is topped up.

I wish to know the reasons for unfriendly sound in exhaust.

CBZ Xtreme is an Indian bike . Honda provides the technology and Hero assembles and designs the graphics. Collaboration of Hero and Honda ---> Hero Honda

May have look on it ---> Hero Honda CBZ-xtreme

Thank you.

I think we would need to hear the exhaust to be able help.
Can you post a video?
Sorry, I don't have a good sound sensitive cam. Moreover, I work on a slow connection.

I have got the problem solved : The mechanic told that silencer had depostion.

The bike starts on idle speed and pick up is back : )
