Hey Guys,

My bike is in storage in the garage for winter. But last weekend was pretty nice so I decided to clean a couple of things etc.
When I grabbed the bike to roll it outside I noticed that I had no front brake.
The lever went right in to the bar.
I checked the reservoir and bled the 2 front calipers but the lever still goes all the way in?
Any idea on what it could be?
It is a pretty simple setup and I am assuming it may be the "valve" inside the lever? or something along those lines...

sounds like the seal has hardened, or perished, work it a few times see if it starts to get better. If not strip it down and relace seal. i am assuming you have lost no fluid.

How old is the brake fluid?
My guess would be the seal on the master cylinder piston is shot. If the fluid is more than a couple of years old, the bore may have corroded.

if there was no loss of fluid then it sounds like the master cylinder to me.....
