Don't cut the back fender! Swap it for one already cut, they're up at £170 in Britain. Similarly good idea to put aftermarket levers on if it's for the track and keep the original stuff for when it retires.
I was told buy a guy who sources Classics for Private Collectors my '98 CBR900 RRX would be worth £5000 with standard bits on.
I ain't changing it coz it looks better the way it is.

You're doing a good thing Sonny! I bought an MOT fail ZX9R for £550, washed, serviced brakes, couple of new bulbs and someone wanted it at £1,000. The World is round, I gave that old bike life support and it's profit supported me for a while. You look after them they'll keep you when you retire.
