Just got my Hindle bolt on for the 03 CBR954RR and I have a question. Do I reuse the factory gasket or should I have gotten one in the box from Hindle?

I have reused the oem many times with no leaks,I have never heard of aftermarket can coming with new gasket.

Hey I've had 2 diff. bolt-ons and used the same gasket,you should be good to go.If not then call ron A.

ok, let me explain what I have here. The OEM gasket is round and fits into an indentation in the base of the stock can. The bolt-on has no indentation and when I install it using the OEM gasket there is a gap of aprox 1/4' between the flange of the bolt-on can and the stock pipe. Anybody with any suggestions?

I used silastic high temp sealer and never had a problem with both of my madaz mufflers.

I haven't a clue what's going on in your photo there, but the muffler very much should fit flush against the flange. That pic looks like a problem...
