The HVIX is the complete system including the HTEV and the airbox flapper.thanks boys , will keep looking for a new gear , as for opening the flapper and pining the H-VIX so that when u turn it fully upwards until its fully open, so the notch on the valve is pointing upwards ?
When my servo went i had truble starting it when cold !!!! would i still have this problem if i was to remove the servo , and like every one knows its imposible to turn the red light off unless u put a working servo on .........?
The servo motor only weighs 350gms and costs around US$200 new.adam , what you looking to get for the servos , as i think postage would be high ???
Very cool. If you're going to the trouble though might it not be a better solution to come up with a device to replace the entire servo motor to trick the ECU?If the centre cog has gone on the servo then the light will come on, it works by a wire conected to the first cog and another to the last cog, when both are in the right place the light goes out. I intend to make up a device to go inthe middle to opperate both gears in order to turn light off, if it works i will post pics and let you know....:thumb:
