I have searched the forums for hours now and I can't find out how to read the trouble codes for the 06 1000rr. Then, once I have them I would need some kind of a chart to figure out what the code represents. I do not have an owners manual, nor do I have a repair manual. I probably should get both but maybe you guys can help me for now.

Dashes are worth 10 and blinks are worth 1 when adding up the fault code.

ok I have

Thanks for your help
The good book says:

34 blinks = Faulty EGCV (Exhaust Gas Control Valve) servomotor POT
35 blinks = EGCV servo motor lock
51 blinks = HESD linear solenoid malfunction
Loose of poor contact on HESD solenoid connector
Open or short circuit in HESD solenoid wire
Faulty HESD solenoid

I would check to see of the EGCV is jammed or the cables are bound up. If you pull the servo, I believe that he fault code will still appear. If the valve is jammed, disconnect the cables. You cal also completely remove the cables and leave the servo.

I pulled the flapper out of the exhaust and removed the cables and all. My top end was somewhere around 150 before and it didn't wheelie. Now that its removed its a whole new bike, power wheelies on call and I don't even need to talk about the top end...

All I need to know now is where the HESD solonoid is located.

Thanks for the help guys
