$10000 + $299 (freight & setup) + tax, title, & license. I was the first person at my dealer to put money down on the 1000RR, so I got to order the color (red), and I get their first one (the only one they're supposed to get in April).
yea I got the only red one at my dealership they said it will be the first one to be there I cant wait it will be my forth honda gotta love them :thumb:
You guys will probably be up in the mid 11's after all is said and done. I was a nervous wreck financing $7,900.00 for my 2001 929. Of course I'm poor too :crap: You lucky rich kids :smilebig:
That's just the way things are... I get pissed sometimes when half the money I earn is grabbed by the governement in taxes, and if I buy a motorcycle, I get taxed again. They push it all the time.. Their latest trick is making speed limiters in cars over 3500kg's mandatory. Max speed is 90 km/h.. Some of the sick politicians have proposed that this should be the same for normal cages as well... I could always move, and the day I pay lots of hard earned cash in taxes because my MC has "to much" HP, and then get a wired in speed limiter, I WILL....

Come on over! I'm sure you can find happiness in one of our Northeastern cities (you know, if you miss the cold and all that...), and you wouldn't have to live in such a Socialist Nirvana (though you might want to stay away from Massachusetts... lol)! Of course, you wouldn't want to come to California--we have too much sun year round, too many tempting roads, and a Governor that can single-handedly take out an entire army of aliens (not the illegal types...LOL!!).
Seriously, though, I'm waiting until the bikes actually hit the showroom floor before I make a decison on which one--then I'll just walk in with cash and say "...and not a penny more!" :thumb:
My deposit receipt for my CBR1000RR tells me that I'm paying $AU20,750 but that was based on a $AU19,500 price tag for the bike itself. Since there has been no Official prices given out by Honda Australia and up until last week everyone is saying $AU19k-$AU20k, they decided to tentatively go with $AU19,500 as a price tag.
Since then I've heard prices of $AU18k-$AU19k from a pretty reliable source which makes me alot happier!!
So I guess my onroads are somewhere between $AU19,250 (~$US14,652.3) and $AU21,250 (~$US16,174.6)
Then you start adding insurance, an alarm, gear etc to that!! :crying:
Hell I put my deposit on mine on Saturday and it is one of the 2 Black ones my dealer will get this year they said 10,999 but i will most likely see what we can come to agree on. Any idea on an actual release date ?
Baketech should be coming this way any minute now...
