Hi guys,

I have read lots of the threads about fork oil and they seem to say you need 3 litres of oil, but in my manual it states that each fork needs about 488 +/- 2.5cc
of oil.
So where does the other 2 litres come in to play?

Thanks,

Kelsey

No it's not in litres, it's ounces or cc's. Don't know off hand but it's about 12oz per leg or something. Your manual will be correct or bladeracer (aka: the Shell answer Man) will let you know.

CC's (cubic centimetres) and ML's (mililitres) are equal, therefor 490cc's x 2 forks is 980cc's or about 1 litre (1000 ml). What I don't understand is ppl saying 3 litres is needed...
I am sure the manual is right, I just want to be prepared when I go to do it...

Thanks!

Three litres?
You should be fine with one litre.
