I actually like the black better. I think because it’s the first one I ever saw on a showroom floor. I remember staring at it like it was yesterday.

When I bought my first one back in 93, the dealer had a RWB and a Black Silver and Red one in the showroom.
I just really liked the black and silver one, so I took it home with me.

Strong money for the condition its in! Needs some work and parts to make it original (indicators, end can, bar end weights, plus there's the chips and damage to wheels, plastics, etc, lower fork stansions, top yolk, etc)

Judging by the image search locations, it was common in the UK, Europe and Aus. Not sure what the scheme the Japanese release was. Never get results for that part of the world.
