Back to basics for you.... "it's" is a contraction for "it is". "Its" is in reference of one thing relationship to another's. A dog and its owners, car and its paint. But, it's over there with all its pieces.

Make sense??

Now go buy a harbrace or roll some HS kid and take theirs. Or is it there's???? J/K////:D

It's (<---possessive) well known that Chuck Norris refers to his left and right legs as "Law" and "Order" respectively. What isn't as well known is their alias'. "Pain" and "Suffereing".

You've still got it wrong. You were right to use the apostrophe, but for the wrong reasons. You didn't use "its" possessively; you were contracting "It is well known that Chuck..."

You're (<--contracting) right, and I knew that was why. I just haven't finished my coffee yet.
