If you ever get confused about anything involving engineering, this quote
from the Air Force is a great guide to solving all engineering problems.
Make sure your speakers are on. Note: This is an actual quote from an Air
Force training tape on how guided missiles locate themselves and get to the
target.

Simply amazing, who knew it was this simple?

Yeah, it's an engineer trying to dumb down terminology, and doing an awful job. Sometimes you have to know the lingo to talk about a subject.

Yep I actually got what he was trying to say. The problem is he was gearing it to managers :D

His press conferences are the best out there.
They can be VERY funny.
I love the "unknowable" ones the best... :rotfl:

I actually had to listen to that particular sound byte (although with a Louisiana accent) several times during OTS . . .:rotfl:

Every friggin SSGT or Ist LT in the "Country Club" was a Louisiana to Texas transplant. I guess it comes with the neighborhood.

BTW, I have absolutely no problem whatsoever with a Louisiana or Cajun accent . . . I bought enough rounds in OTS to become an honorary Coonass 5 times over . . .

I go through this everyday. So hard to deal with intelligent people that can't even tie their shoes.
Sendin this to work. These people need to listen to themselves.
