I am planning to buy a joe rocket blaster 4.0 leather jacket( non perforated).
How is the overall quality and protection it offers. Are the vents in the jacket any good in warm weather? Has anyone used this jacket?

I had a Joe Rocket, not the blaster 4.0 though (I don't keep up on the current Joe Rocket designs). It was a good jacket. Thick leather, good stitches. I would not worry about it falling apart in a crash.

As for the venting, it was ok. Still got hot. Just unzipped it, and rode with the jacket partially open. Since I notice that you're from India, why don't you want to consider the perforated leather or even mesh jackets? I mean, I can't imagine i getting cold there. The perforated leathers ventilate very well (I have an Alpinestars stage jacket). You would be surprised at how well perforated leather can cool you, I know I was. Probably on par with the mesh jackets with the added protection of leather.

It does get very cold in north India, and i generally go for my rides in early mornings. and i already have a alpinestars tex jacket.
BTW my friend has already bought the jacket from U.K for me, got a good deal @150 pounds. thanks for your inputs.
