Very true.

But:

1) she parked her car at the gate of the park
2) lady is a jogger, goes running
3) car found at gate, she is missing

That's pretty good evidence she's abducted, but admittedly not slam dunk. The only way we'll know is if they find her.

Any cliffs/ravines in that park?
Nothing too serious.
I was part of the 1100+ man search party yesterday, and she's not in that canyon.
We found some transient camps and a bunch of clothing articles, but nothing that points directly to her existence.
Someone did see her at the entrance stretching, but other than that there is no solid evidence to show she did or did not even make it onto the jogging path.
The police had a tip about a dumpster midway between the park entrance and the couple's home. They took it to the 'cop shop' to sift through.
I really hope it's not the case, but I have a strange feeling this is a "Scott Peterson" type case.
Sucks either way, and I hope she's found alive.

Women disappear every day.....but since our media has become a merger of news and entertainment, the only ones we hear about are either the wealthy or the telegenic.... :crap:

Turns out the husband has been lying about his college status all along to everyone he knows. Never graduated, never applied to med school in NC like he has been saying.
He also checked himself into the Psych ward at a local hospital.
Does this mean he did it? Not necessarily, but it doesn't look good. Even his own parents were shocked.

Now they are telling us that her husband used his credit card to purchase a new mattress (mattress only, no box spring) at 10:23 that morning, then reported his wife missing at 10:49.
He initially said she was supposed to wake him up when she returned, but he woke up late and got worried.
The neighbors had the police come and get their garbage can also because there was a foul odor coming from it and maggots all over it. It is being analyzed at a lab, and is reported to be a brown protein rich liquid.
I had a bad feeling from this guy from the get go. His on-camera interviews Monday morning were suspicious, as he didn't really seem all that distraught.
While helping with the search Tuesday, the feeling really set in that I thought he did it, and some of the other volunteers said they felt the same way.
Again, I hope it's all just coincedental crap, but it doesn't look like it. :crap:

new mattress - sleeping in, where's the mystery here? how is she supposed to wake the man up if he is breaking in that new mattress anyways?
