Not a fireblade question but i'm sure you folks know how to fix this.

One of the turn signals on my vtx takes a while to start flashing. the other side works as intended. It would make sense if the one didn't work all together but it typically has a 10-30s delay before flashing once activated. Both front and back bulbs work. I figure its dirt/corrosion in the switch gear and will clean that out but i didn't know if there might be something else causing it to happen.

Think your right ,if it was the relay you'd prolly get hyper flash and a bulb out, could be just a loose dirty connection in the switch gear,

I had exact that problem on my Blade and in the end it stopped working.
For me i cleand three times without solving the problem but usually works.
For me it ended up to change whole thing and then it worked.
I but an original from David Silver that was not to expensive since all looked like crap on Ebay when i looked.

Start with the switch. Had the same thing happen to Red a few years ago. Spiders make a hone on the left side contact as well as corrosion on the copper slide connection.

had similar and it was the switch contacts that were corroded - cleaned them and re assembled and been good for 2-years + now

i cleaned everything out, regreased and it seems to be working well. no telling how long it will last.
