Longer throttle cables?

Hi,
A friend is building a MK1 fireblade streetfighter and we were wondering what cables would be long enough for the risers and renthals.
We were thinking maybe some from another model would be long enough?
Any help is much appreciated :thumb:

I would expect cables from any bike with a more upright stance would be longer. Maybe the Hornet, Blackbird, Z1000, Bandit 1200, FZ1 or something similar?
Thanks for your reply.
I didnt think that all bike cables would fit all bikes.
I was kinda hoping some kind person who has done this would have posted a definite answer.
The clutch cable has been wound to the end of its adjustment to make it reach so a longer replacement will be needed for that aswell.
Hi mate I used cables off a honda Africa and clutch cable and braided pipes hope this helps

I've done about 4 fighters out of late 90s Blades all with MX bars and each time I've rerouted the cables over the triple clamp and where massible massaged the underside of the tank lip where it runs to make it smoother. Std cable always seem to be a decent enough length
Thanks for your replies.
Just for the record a hornet clutch cable has been fitted and has more than enough length.
Hopefully this project will progress through the winter and my friend might let me post some pictures
