I've just bough a 2nd hand bolt on micron exhaust / muffler for my blade 954, it has all the fittings except the gaskett.
My question is - can i use the original gaskett that is with the original honda exhaust that is on at the moment? Or will i have to purchase an micron gaskett.
What im basically asking is are they the same or different??
if the old gasket is in decent shape and it fits use it. i didn't use a gasket when i replaced the exhaust on my old 954, there was a pretty good fit already
Hey, do you notice with your D&D slip on, if it is just a slip on can...that you get a little boggy-ness off the line until about 6K RPMs...I bought a K&N filter I havnt fitted yet to try to fix the problem...anyway sorry to hijack the OP, but as for that I would, if its clean reuse but a replacement cant be that expensive either...
I never experienced any problems with the D&D, I had the needles raised in the carbs about 2 mos. after in installed the slip on, And I have been running a uni filter for years. Never had a bogging problem at any RPM

Thanks...I don't know what it's like without it... My bike has always had it, perhaps I'll adjust the carbs this winter
