Like you said, who cares how many houses he has or cars or anything for that matter... If he has been that succesful(with his wife) don't we want someone like that running the most powerful nation on the planet. Hmmm...As long as he plans to make our country that succesful, I am voting for him. I like to collect things too, not houses yet..but bikes is a good start. I don't think we can blame him for being succesful and marrying into money, isn't that the American dream, to be wealthy? And he's a Vet.

Vote between a liberal or a socialist. I will pick the lesser of the two evils and go with the republiberal McCain! He is at least a true American!:patriot:

Houses? He should have one for every day he spent as a prisoner of a foreign country. If Mccain wins, well he earned it. He already volunteered his life, and short of being KIA has paid the ultimate price of any citizen.

What is Obama's military history? Or has he only talked while holding his status as an American.

He's got my vote as well. I use to live Arizona and he was the governor there. I must say he was well liked, and did a good job at that. On top of that I always vote morals over money. Its not the governments responsibility to make us money. Its America for cryin out loud...go kill something and drag it home!

It is America, and I would gladly go kill something and drag it home...especially since deer season is coming up. I understand it is not the Goverment's job to make us money, I make my own money, but I would also like to keep some of it in my wallet instead of funding some of the happy warm fuzzy crap that Obama is suggesting. McCain will make sure we get tax breaks to do just that as all his wealthy friends will remind him that TAXES SUCK. Not so much Fed and State taxes, but all the other petty bullcrap taxes that bleed us dry.:thumbd:

I am sure they are both supporting members here, although McCain strikes me as a stunter so he's probably been banned at some stage for starting wheelie threads .... And I'm pretty sure Obama has a couple of Vespa scooters.

No big deal to me either, I don't care how many houses he or anyone else owns as long as they aquired them honestly. I plan on collecting a few houses of my own if O'Bama doesn't socialize healthcare and put me out of a job.

I'm not taking sides here. My opinions of Obama are based on the fact that America is currently (and understandably) very sensitive to any (apparent) perception of Islamic connection to its leadership and that he has little experience in politics. He does present himself well, but that is merely one element required in the role of president. Opportunities where he could have shown his mettle by voting one way or the other he has either chosen not to, or to vote one way with an additional caveat built-in to hedge his bets. That is not the sign of a strong leader and would most definitely be seen as a sign of weakness on the world stage. His views regarding potential military action in other war theatres also suggests that when the time did come he would hesitate...

However...

McCain is getting old now (73). If he were to complete a full term in office, he would be 77 years old. Lets be honest with each other here, he is (understandably) more than likely out of touch with the influences affecting his potentially soon-to-be-people. The internet alone is a massive influence on us all, but I doubt he has any 'real' understanding of this media and there's only so much 'understanding' that advisors can impart. There have also been a number of occasions were it is possible his gaffes have been a case of forgetfulness. I understand that most of you don't really feel there is much relevance whether or not he remembers how many homes he has. Yet if this is the beginnings of a memory issue, please be aware that you will be asking this man to be commander in chief. Will he remember the briefings his military advisors give him when it counts?

I'm actually worried about this political election and what the result will mean to the US and, by default, the rest of the world.

Couldn't there be someone else out there?
