ok i have a carbon fiber muffler that needs a small work for a leak
and problem is the leak is where the carbon fiber part is connected to the metal part with revids so its pointless to take the revid apart

unless someone has a suggestion

i markedit in yellow the thing that it has a little bent at the same spot that u see it on the pic but from the back and it looks like the carbon fiber part is ok but the metal part is bent a bit

any help out there ??? before i start getting creative ???lol

The picture is too small to see what you are talking of. if the carbon is OK, you might be able to take the rivets out , straighten the can end, and then put it back together. Be very careful; I've never had good luck taking these apart ... usually end up not repacking and letting it get loud. Very nice can, worth saving if you can.

If not bend too bad, why not try to straighten as much as you can without taking it all apart then dripping a strong clear epoxy into it to take care of the leak?

I would think a GOOD epoxy would since the can itself shouldn't get all too hot but if I'm wrong someone will correct me before too long I'm sure
