Its a georgous looking bike but the BMW 1000 RR will beg to differ on the MV being the fastest.

Perfect conditions I suppose, I watched a BMW 1000 RR on a rolling road/dyno the first run hit 190mph the second run hit 210mph ummm.

I have no idea which bike is really the more powerful one. Just saw the article and was wondering if someone knew more about it. It's a new bike and I guess not many had the chance to test it yet.

Engine derived from the Ferrari Formula one engine... One of the most beautiful bikes on the market, and at $32000 US (22900 Euro) base price it better be. I know that a used one will be my next sportbike. That is unless I find the ultimate deal on a CBR1000 in the 05 to 09 model years.

Usually Italien designs are terrific but the engines are a whole different topic.

watched a race out of ohio this last weekend, it was a Suzuki that won. They also, highlighted a the Honda EBR1100 (1090cc) under AMSOil colors. Looked like it was doing 110 mph sitting still.

I guess I'm the only one here who thinks this is a absolutely ugly motorcycle.

The front and the tail from the side just don't look right, and the under tail exhaust is flat out ugly.

They use an awesome tubular frame and yet they cover it up. A lot of things on the bike just don't look well thought out.

I would much rather have the S1000rr or RSV4 over this.

Whhaaaatttt? Undertail exhaust is by far the best looking way to get your fumes out! Sure it may not be good for mass centralization, but it is so symmetrical and neat. If you want to see an ugly exhaust look at a new Kawasaki!! In comparison the BMW is absolutely hideous! Its so unsymmetrical!!! Perhaps I just really like symmetrical things...

So there was absolutely no air drag on the bike then? lol

Not to say that the S100RR isnt fast, but you cant take dyno speeds and put them to the actual road.

As for the bike.. I do not think it is a good looking bike.. I dont mind the mid panels, but the headlight is terrible.. I also agree about the exhaust, it looks absolutely retarded!
