Private Message Pete... he used to have a stretched and chromed swing arm.
I wouldn't put chrome on it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't chrome usually make parts less resistant to stress? I've heard that chroming wheels makes them more susceptible to cracking... I would assume the same applies to the swing arm.
I am polishing up a couple swingarms for 00-01 929s and I will post phots when I get them done in the general photo area. Last night I did some of my left shifter linkage, MAN O MAN! IF you didni't know it you would think it was cromed! Polished aluminum looks tons better than crome in my opinion.
