Hello,
I'm new to the forum and would like to thank everyone for the great advice and stories that i have read so far from some of the other threads. There is definitely a lot of experience on this site.

I dropped my bike this year and need to replace the front, side and tail fairings. The cost is pretty high so i was wondering if anyone has had any experience in replacing fairings. I have looked into aftermarket online but not sure which site would be a good one to trust. I have heard that some come with the holes not drilled correctly. I would like to be able replace them myself with no drilling required if possible.

Any advice or websites that you have used would be appreciated.

Thanks

You pretty much get what you pay for, O.E.M great fit no issue, E-Bay hit or miss, the more you pay the better the kit. Seen some shocking fitting kits fitted to bikes and seen some really good ones, all will look good at a distance. But to be fair if your good with your hands you take your time and dont start drilling till you have offered up all the parts you will get a good result:thumb:

Thanks, all advice is appreciated. I have been leaning towards nicecycle.com they seem to be saying they are the best but have heard horror stories of some fitment so i have be been really suspect. Thanks for the advice.

:welcome: to the Forum Spawn? Where are you from in Ont, I'm in Windsor. I bought an eBay set from stylechoose (thanks shodog) and was very impressed with the packaging, paint quality and fit. Fit was almost perfect and just had to clean flashing out of maybe 4 holes. I also put header wrap along the bottom of the exhaust because I heard of melting issues. So far no problems. They do come with the higher quality heat insulation as well. For $195 plus $230 for shipping, it's hard to go wrong. I also painted my wheels gold. Black just didn't do the Rothman's scheme justice I felt. Here's a pic.

I'm seriously condsidering doing up a set of bodywork in the Rothmans colors from the Mid-90's. That would be one livery that you don't see many replicas of here in the States, and the Blue, white, gold are simpply gorgeous. The only thing holding me back is that my original stock fairings are showroom condition and I love the red, black, yellow scheme. Decisions, decisions
