I am replacing my header gaskets on my 08 cbr1000. Got the old copper gaskets out and went to install the new ones when I found out that they don't stay in the heads when you press them in. Is there some kind of procedure for getting all four gaskets in place and stay there so I can install the exhaust ? They are the right gaskets, ordered them from honda dealer and checked the fiche online. Thanks

Just a couple of dabs of silicone will hold them in place.
Make certain the old ones have been removed as the carbon build-up makes them difficult to see in the head.
