I wanted to see if anyone could help me out. I'm looking to buy some land in the Northern California/Southern Oregon area. What I would like to do is buy about 100 acres and spilt it with some of my family. But I don't know if I would be allowed to split up land into smaller lots. Are there laws against this or are there problems with taxes when you do this? If anyone out there is a real estate sales person or has first hand experience buying land I would REALLY appreciate any tips or info!
