Looking to change or spice it up for the winter. My undertail is all jammed up because I bought an eBay version and it wouldn't stay so I had to use plastic push pins to keep it in(looks terrible)I was thinking about redoing the tail with a Chinese one and a actually hotbodies undertail. After all is said and done it would be close to getting a who,e Chinese fairing kit. Not sure which way to go. I'm just wondering what any of you have seen with the black silver kit like mine that looked good(wheels etc). Not sure which way to go.

Well... there are uncountable things that you can do (and that have been done) to that color scheme. I think the silver/black is probably the most popular.

Do you have passengers occasionally? If not, I'd go with a solo (race) tail, and get an OEM undertail. No reason to go aftermarket, since they all put indicators in them. Clear Alternatives makes a quality integrated LED taillight/indicator in clear AND smoked lenses... that really looks clean. Ditching the rear pegs & mounts (and buying a new pipe mounting bracket) will tidy-up and finish the slick look. :shades: That takes care of the back ;)

Hm those are some good points. I chopped up the oem undertail to install the aftermarket one so I guess I'd have to see if I can find a used one. I don't have passengers a lot but that may change from time to time so that race tail might now work.

I was curious about powder coating the wheels gloss black but that might not be enough change to justify the price. Gold looks like hit or miss on this scheme too

I've seen some PC the swingarm & controls to match the frame... that looks nice as well :thumb:

I'm not a fan of colored wheels, but have seen some that look nice ;)
