hello all hope to become a regular here and meet new people to ride with once i fix the bike i just got.picked up a 1995 honda cbr 600 f3 needs a little love,ok a lot but never been down real bad but first things first is that its needs a clutch and was hoping someone knew where i could get info or step by step on how to replace it.live in southern cali,oceanside area

:welcome: i agree with Destructo get yourself a manual for the procedure for everything, the better manual = better information. the steels might not need to be replaced but you won't know until you get it tore apart to look at them. but i would diffently replace the springs and fibers. companys like BARNETT will offer a kit that will include new springs and the fiber clutch plates. just one guick question though, why do you want to replace the clutch for?

the guy i got it from was hard on it,and when clutch lever is let out it made kind of a howling noise,and now when i do that after i got it i put it in gear and it just stalls like its not there(the clutch)

cool, there are some knowledgeable people here that will be able to help you with this task. but first get the manual, im use to the HONDA SERVICE MANUALS, maybe check out ebay for one. replacing the clutches is not that major of a task but it is one that some mechanical knowledge is needed
