Hello all,
Since my stock rear tire was about shot, I was able to pick up a new M-1 190/50ZR-17 for cheap. Question is how's it in the rain? Also what sort of tire pressure seems to work best?
I use my 929 primarily as my daily driver and rain will soon be an issue. I've got it at 42 psi now but it feels like I'm riding around on ball bearings.
Just looking for what to expect after I get it scrubbed in.
Thanks

I used one in the wet at the track and thought it was awesome. As long as I avoided the puddles, I didn't really know it was wet out.

I ran 32/36 per the metzler guy.

Yup, they are good in the wet. I'd use the tire pressures ccwilli mentioned in the wet, as you need to keep the rain grooves open. Low pressures will allow them to close and then they can't do their job. In the dry, though, I run lower pressures (on the track), around 31/30. Dry street conditions I use the higher 32/36 or 33/36, somewhere in that ballpark.
