if you're drag racing it what's the point of hiding it?
Have you ever sold a kit for a GL1800 Goldwing or a Ruine (sp?)?Since I own a motorcycle tuning shop, I guess I'm money hungry and can sell a kit to him.
The thing with a kit.....if you buy the kit, it comes with a 1lb bottle, which is what I have on my 954....I don't think the 1lb bottle will fit in the trunk like it does on the 954. If you want it hidden; I can sell you the kit with a 7 or 10oz bottle that you can try to put somewhere behind a fairing.
Price:
$300 shipped with 1lb bottle as a kit. Bottle is 10" long and 3-1/8th" dia.
$350 shipped with 7oz bottle. Bottle is 11-1/2" long and 2" diameter.
$365 shipped with 10oz bottle. Bottle is 15-1/4" long and 2" diameter.
$390 shipped with 10oz NOS brand bottle.
The reason the smaller bottles are more is because you can't get the kit with the smaller bottles, so you have to buy the bottle seperate.

How fat does the A/F need to be above stock?
I already have an aftermarket pressure regulator that has fattened up the ratio a bit, but probably not enough.
How many 4 second shots do you get out of 1 lb of NOS?
Thanks.
I just want to be able to do wheelies and stunts on the Goldwing.:eyebrows:Using NOS on a street bike is pointless if your not drag racing:badidea: but it really doesn't matter what I think. Make the sale Silverbullet, be sure to give him the large size.
So with a kit, they come with enough line to get into one of the trunks? We haven't sold or put one on a goldwing. If you have a small shot 20-30hp, you really don't need to richen it up, the sensor will do it. I have a 40 shot on mine, and the only time I richen it up is if I know I am going to make a full NOS pass.
I can get about 3 passes from 2nd gear on in the 1/4, so probably 3 or 4.
I couldn't think of a more stable platform to add nitrous than a Goldwing.I see this deteriorating quickly :badidea:
