what the?

I noticed on some movies they use bikes setup like this for offroad clips during a street riding scene, it's been awhile but I'm pretty sure it was mission impossible 2 that I saw it and thought how cheesy and fake the stunts looked. I think one of the Charlies Angles flicks had something like this in it to, or wait maybe it was tomb radier. anyway, waste of money if you ask me, real dirt bikes work way better for sure.

Haters, think about this for a minute. I know a CBR does not have the travel in the suspension to sustain off road abuse, but think of the horse power. A 250 has what? 70hp if that A CBR 1000RR has 160hp with a knarly pair of knobbies to rip sh*t up. Pretty cool IMO.

EDIT: BTW, the 03 CR 250 puts out great power(on the dyno) for a stock 250 and is normally around 47HP.

Mine is uh...over 50. :evilaugh:

Yeah, anyone with eyes can see different tires from scene to scene in MI:2 if you're looking for it. :)

It's all about power : weight ratio. ;)
The 150 HP 440 pound CBR1000 definately beats the 220 pound 50HP (being generous) 250.

That roost is the perfect example of why outside of hillclimbing you don't want that much power. You can't put it to the ground. And furthermore, you can't hang on.

I rode Matress' CR500 and anytime I got into the whoops that damn thing tried to run away from me. It's just got so much power!

Light dirtbikes with good power are the most fun. And for most people it's actually easy to get a single cylinder bike too powerful for them to ride.

I think its kinda cool, I'd never do it myself. well maybe I'd ride it if it was someone elses bike and they wouldn't care if I crashed it. Hell me and some friends made a little jump into some mulch at the end of a parking lot one time. We're dumb one after another 4 us rode the little 50 at max speed over the jump and crashed. It was kinda dumb considering the very first of us crashed and the rest still did it but it was fun.

and should we :flame: that guy for endagering a cow or maybe a deer or worse a Sheep.
