just finished installing my pc3r
take a 5 min ride into town
park the bike, come back turn the key and no priming sound...fuel pump isn't getting power as well as the pc3r
and no high beams.
i pulled the tank up and unplugged the pc3 and plugged the oem 13 pin connector back together as well as the other two connectors.
still nothing.

trailer it home...

go to work for the day and i come home and look it over some more
i turn the key and the fuel pump primes and it fires right up ????

i shut her down and then cycle the fuel pump three or four times and then it stops working.

any known issues with the pc3 frying stuff or messing with anyone else's bike ?

Or is it completely unrelated.
thanks for any help.

I think it's unrelated.

I think your Fuel relay or your Bank Angle relay is failing. They both have to work before you get power to the fuel pump.
What you described is exactly how relays fail. Intermittently.

You didn't say what bike you have, but most Honda FI's, you can swap the highbeam relay into the fuel relay or the bankangle relay socket.
So if your highbeams work properly, that's a known good relay that you can test the other two with.
You can also put the bank angle or the fuel relay into the highbeam relay socket, and cycle your highbeams several times to see if they consistently work.

Other than that, check your bank angle sensor connection, the sidestand switch and connector.

Use a dab of dielectric grease on all connectors. :thumb:

No MIL flashing on the dash though?
No high beams would have me looking at the kill switch wiring - the starter button cuts into the headlight harness.
Do you mean that after cyling the ignition key several times the engine won't start?
If you don't have any dash lights, pull the base off the ignition switch and make sure none of the solder has come away.
The fuel pump doesn't need to prime if the fuel rail is already up to pressure.
Yes, PC's are known to fail.
