Great series, the bought team got the shit kicked out of them :smilebig:
I hate Karl Malone so it was great to see him not get a ring.

Ben Wallace is unreal man. 2 different putbacks with a dunk, each one we were yelling.

With all that talent on the Lakers, they must feel like morons. :evilaugh:

Don't like Shaq (boring to watch someone bigger and stronger than everyone else).
Don't like Kobe (pick a reason).
Don't like Malone (boring).
Don't like Fox (greasy).
Used to like Payton (was a big Sonics fan early 90's).
Got to cheer for Rush (MU Tiger).
Fisher has heart.

Glad the Pistons won.

Payton is really 1/2 bitch.
Shaq is 100% bitch, and so is his enemy Kobe.
Can't stand watching someone bigger than everyone else either.

Fox is a bitch, and Malone is the biggest bitch.

Wallace is amazing to watch, I like the guys that play the dirty role of working the boards all game, a real workhorse.
Rip, loved watching him shoot in Washington, his jump shots are daggers.
Chauncy finally getting some credit is sweet.

He's always had the 'tude. The Sonics used to play wicked trapping defense though with him, McMillan, etc. Kemp used to be a manchild (some of the nastiest dunks ever) until he went to Cleveland, gained 100 lbs and went all to hell.

I'm so glad they kicked the crap out of the Lakers. Even though I hate the NBA, I hate the Lakers most of all (mostly for the same reasons as TB).
Hate Kobe for tons of reasons
Hate Shaq because he's an athletic gorilla
Malone should have retired with Stockton
Payton is a has-been that got abused all through the playoffs
It was nice to see a team from the East win it all...I didn't think it would happen again for a while.

It was awesome to see the Pistons crush the flakers.
Karl Malone's always been a dirty player but has become a punk byyaattchh while with the Lakers and thinking he had the title wrapped up.
Payton's always been a punk byyyatttchh but even more so now. Whines about every call.
Kobe's not a team player with a huge ego that behaves like a child.
Shaq should be called for an offensive foul 92.999% of the time when he lowers his shoulder and turns to the basket. If you'r paid millions you should be able to make more than 50% of your attempts at the charity stripe.
Fox...just can't stand him. Dirty player made very evident in the Bulls years against Pippen. Plus he took Vanessa!

Don't necessarily care for the Pistons....but kinda like shirts that say anyone but Mladin....here it's anyone but the Lakers. :rotfl:

Laker fan here (hey, born in Hollywood, what do you expect :idunno: ), but I admit that my team got out-played, out-hustled, out-coached, etc. I give them credit for getting through San Antonio and Minnesota, but I think they figured Detroit would be easy after those two.

Props to the Pistons (as much as I hate to say it) - they earned it.

I understand why there are so many Laker-haters out there too - same reason I hate the Yankees, Notre Dame, the Cowboys, etc.

Shaq is a freak, but don't tell me he doesn't get fouls against him that don't get called any more often than he plows over people that don't get called either. The guy is just bigger, stronger, faster than anyone that's played the game before him. They could call a foul both ways on every possession involving him. Can't do that I guess.

I hated Malone forever while with Utah for being a dirty player. Still, it's kind of funny to hear people criticize him and Payton for signing on with the Lakers just to get a free ride to a ring, when most players are criticized for being "all about the money" and not caring about winning titles.

I wonder what my Lakers are going to look like next year, from the Coach on down. :idunno:

Agreed, Ben Wallace is da man! I think he should have been MVP for that game. I quess he's been in the league for awhile, just now getting recognized by all. Bwhip makes some good points. All in all I was very impressed with Coach Larry Brown, even during all the celebration he just kinda slipped behind all the players with his kid and let them do all the celebrating and interviews. One of the greatest TEAM efforts and coaching I've seen, everyone one of those Piston players gave it their all. That was fun to watch.

So what's the deal with the last 5 mins of the game taking an hour? ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
Bor-frick-ing!!!!!
:wstupid:

I've always said they should start a B/Ball game with 5 minutes on the clock and each team with 80 points each.

Let's face it guys and girls, the last 5 minutes is the only thing that means anything. If a team is ahead by 20 points with that much time left, the other team doesn't deserve to be there anyway.

Just my $0.02 woth.
