This is what I would do in a pinch with a dead battery. I would jump it from a car battery, but with the car off. See if it's sparks and fires up then. Or buy a new battery.

the thing is is that I have no juice in my battery nothing comes on until I hook the cables it cranked the other day when the battery would still somewhat hold a charge

Right, I had the same problem with an old gsxr. So it would crank but not fire with what little juice you had? I still say hook it up to a car battery or bike and try to start it and for sure eliminate the bad battery as a culprit.

A bad bank angle sensor will cause either a no spark or no prime, not sure. Is your pump priming? Are you sure your getting fuel?
I know my pump is priming I can hear it when I turn my key on and I haven't been able to check to see if the injectors are spraying cause everytime I have the tank off I cant get to them with the tank and airbox on

The fuel pump priming is a great sign.
now no fire is the bad sign. chances are if the fuel pump is primed you have fuel to the rail
and that means pressure.( Test it by pressing air release button)
Take off plug number 1 and ground it to the head while bumping engine with
starter button. (with solid 12 volts as stated by azn) If you have no spark, it may be due to the 100ohm resistor
is the ignition damged or hooked up wrong?

the bank angle sensor malfunction or disconnection will likely prevent the pump from priming.
The fact that is it priming but not sparking leads me to inspect ignition
but you probably just have a dead abttery
best

well its a fuel pressure rlease valve that looks like a tire valve for a car tire.
dont put your face near it, depress it, and if gas squirts out, you have pressure
its on the fuel rail its like a rod
but first verify you have spark or not by touching a spark plug to head
as it seems more of a spark not fuel issue
did you jump it off a car yet

edit whups i thought you were the op

put a fresh plug in it man
or take a lighter and burn off and clean old plug man
lets go ghetto grimy with it
okay sorry for so many ?s I just to a multimeter out there I got power to my injecots fuel pump and when the key is on I pulled the spark plug boot out and stuck the probe in it and its showing 12v when the keys on and drops to 8 or 9 when cranking is this right ?

put a spare plug in the boot.
turn off the lights
put the spark plug on the head.
look for a FAT BLUE SPARK while bumping starter.
if its red or another color you are only getting
100mghz less than required to fire the bike as determined by ecm
for some reason.
all this only applies if you jumping it off a car/ if you are not ...that is primo step one
in other words it seems you are getting "fire"
but there are a multitude of "safety features" that will prevent you from getting "hot" enough spark
nine times out of ten its the resistor in the ignition preventing fire
concentrate on the anti theft devices like ignition
i used to make "skeleton keys" to get any gsxr fired in 2 seconds lol
but without the bike here its near impossible to get it runnin
but we are close

Hey,
I have one of CBR 929, after changing the frame disappeared spark. I checked everything and no reasons for spark disappearing. System off HISS works, the motor starter spins, fuel pump also turns on. Error code is 9 and 34, and I have no ideas what could it be. I tried to replace all harness with sensors and ECU. Maybe you have an idea why there is no spark???
:crying::confused::huh:
