True, but I've read here on this forum about horror stories about fitment. My kit is already fitted on and looks pretty good. No cracks or anything.I don't see why it wouldn't be possible. My dealer pointed me to a site where you can get factory matched paint.

To do it right, I think you'll be looking at some significant coin - perhaps more than getting a decent bodykit.
That's exactly what I'm going to do. I checked out auctmarts.com and I found a jet black kit for $400 shipped.why not just buy another chinese fairing kit and sell off the repsol to recoup some of your money. That way your only out a couple of hundred bucks
