Where does the larger spring fit when connecting to the brake pedal?
On the brake pedal, there's a threaded hole. The only thing that seems to fit is a screw, topped by a nut. ???
It doesn't make sense that the spring hook fits in the screw with the nut?

Dunno about the Harris in particular, but on my Satos, the spring that was on the stock brake lever doesn't go on the rearsets brake lever. Did the spring come with the Harris rearsets, or are you trying to figure out what to do with the spring on the stock brake pedal? The brake lever just returns from the pressure of the brake fluid, there is no spring, on the Satos. I'm guessing many aftermarket rearsets may be like this?

Ditto to what HG2 said, my Attacks don't use the return spring either.

you do use the stock springs. I'm not very good at explaining things and I don't have a digital camera but proto showed me how to do it. Ask him, we both have Harris rear sets.

HTH :)

The springs are not strictly necessary, and the brake switch arrangement is a total afterthought! I going to replace the switch with a pressure switch banjo bolt when I replace the rear brake hose.

This is how I have mine right now.
