Simple one for those that know...

Do the 95 forks fit straight on to a 92 blade?

Only difference I can see in pics is the bottom (rebound?) damper adjuster?

Cheers for any advice

Yes, yes they do. You'll need the 95 spacers as well if your 16" front wheel has the speedo drive in it. Unless you keep it without the cable attached. 92-97 all fit.

Interested to understand why the spacers are needed with the speedo drive though?

They're not, I've been so hung up on my 17" conversion and haven't run a speedo cable/drive in years. So you are correct. You don't need the spacers with your speedo drive intact. 95 forks will bolt right on without issue. In fact they still have the boss that the drive stops against in the casting on the lower left leg. At least the US spec ones do. Thanks for setting me straight. :)

PS The lower adjustment on those forks is for compression damping. Nice feature to have.
