Rear Hugger for 09 RR with ABS

I've been wanting to fit a rear hugger to my blade with ABS fitted but the manufacturers recon they don't fit the ABS model.

The only difference I can see is the ABS sensor wire running down the inside of the rear brake line - which is easily relocated.

I would be most appreciative if someone could clearly show or tell me why it wont fit.

I managed to find my answer after spelling 'tyre' the yank way (tire).

Here's what I found for future reference thanks to frenk in another post...

It only touched the ABS box once when riding with a passenger and forgot to stiffen the rear suspension. It was still with the original factory setting position 4 of 10. So it was too soft when I hit a bump, it only left 2 little scratches luckily. No more problems since, because now the rear is on post 6 of 10 and that hard enough.

Cheers Twincan,

It already has a stiffer rear spring and I removed the pillion pegs so I should be sweet. I ordered the Hot Bodies hugger from Bike Bear Warehouse owned by Matt Maladin here in OZ. I went with gloss black to match the rest of the bike as every man and his dog have carbon fiber and I'm sick of it now.

I'll report back on how it goes.
PS: Has anyone seen the price for the Honda huggers??? :hss:
