Hi all...
As usual, I first searched in the forum, but I found nothing..
I have a model year 2009 1000rr repsol replica/abs, and here in italy, but presumably around the world, this bike came with no rear tyre hugger (or rear fender, or rear mudguard...I do not know how to translate it :-( ) .
But I see many same bike on youtube with the rear fender installed, so I presume is an aftermarket part.

this bike is not so common here, because only few number was imported, so I can't look for some other bikers...

Any hint ?

Tnx in advance.

They do not fit them to the ABS versions as the battery box hangs a bit lower than the standard version. The lower battery tray area is prone to hitting and damaging the rear hugger on big bumps.

However, I have bought one based on other peoples recommendations to increase the stiffness of the rear suspension to reduce scrubbing.

I'm expecting the courier to be here today with my new hugger and I will let you know how it goes.

yep, many vendors told me the same thing, an (I suppose) this is why this part is not available on the honda site as accessory.
Ok, this kind of abs is really cool, but ...I mean...with the rain at the end of the ride all (me and the bike :) ) is really dirty...
