Been doing some work cleaning up the back end, replacing chain sprockets and a rebuilt shock.
Thought I'd take out the arm to clean it up and ran into the locknut spindle removal ballache.

The locknut does tap off with a drift if you havent got the castlated tool and the adjuster nut comes off with.... the spark plug spanner, its a perfect fit, no need to buy anything special.
BTW beg borrow or even buy a 'rattle gun'. It makes things like drive sproket removal an absolute doddle. Worth every penny.

Cheers and its back to cleanig up 11 years of chain oil crud... lovely!
