So I have had my 2004 CBR1000RR for about 5 months with no problems until recently. I noticed a hose came off which caused all of my coolant to leak out and the bike to run hot. I clamped the hose back down and refilled coolant and my bike is still reaching 250F while sitting in the parking lot until the red light flickers. Even tried riding it up the rode and temperatures steady rose! Could this be a thermostat problem or coolant not being pumped through? I'm all out of other ideas :crap:

Never mind everyone. After some more browsing around and searching on youtube, the remedy was bleeding cooling system

If you got yourself a manual for your bike you would've known that ;-)
Good stuff.

Also check your overflow hose and bottle are clear and flowing properly. Coolant needs to be able to freely flow both ways from bottle to radiator.
I'd also inspect the rubber gasket on the radiator cap to make sure it looks healthy.
