do you think buying an aftermarket seat “thicker” would possibly decrease my knee bend? If so which seat do y’all recommend? I’m 6’5 with an 03 954 and have been considering installing 1in lowering pegs but the idea of it kinda sketches me out. Any suggestions?

Also if I do go with lowered pegs, would rising the ride height help? Like as in purchasing a rising link to make up for the difference?

You can try the pegs, you would have to really be pushing the bike to its limits to be concerned with dragging hard parts even with 1" lower pegs. I wouldn't suggest messing with the bikes suspension, that will have a negative effect on the machines performance. I suppose you could throw something under your butt between the seat while you're sitting on the bike and see if that helps your situation any. If it does, I'm sure you could find an upholsterer that could make a custom cover and add more padding to gain a little space there.
