I found this on eBay. I want a fighter to play with but I don't want to chop up the 954, so I offered him my four wheeler. It's an 08 Raptor 700. He seems interested, should I trade him?

Opinions on this bike? Does it look like junk? Should I go for it? I just want to get a second opinion before I dive in.

The bike looks quite good to me. Don't know why he spent money on good suspension parts but perhaps the bike did track duty so consider that.

It also has a salvage title I notice and that may be of concern for damage and whether you cab retitle it or not. Be careful here!

I can't comment on the trade part as I have no clue of the value of your trade.

He mentioned in the ad something about "one race on frt and rear" so I guess it has seen the track. Here in Indiana, you don't have to do anything with a salvage title. All I need to do is get it notarized in his state and then I can transfer it to my name. My 954 was also a salvage title, it had been dropped and repaired. I didn't have any trouble with that. But I know in California and probably a lot of other places, it's a real pain in the ass.

he was talking about michelin POWER 1 race tires on the front and back...good tires...dunlop better
