Hi all.
So my 929 fireblade 01 model, speedometer, most of the time don't work (zero showing) on clock. Looked at speed sensor but can'ttell if faulty or not? As it's a sealed unit, the wiring seems ok as well, and advise in which way to go with this would be appreciated.

If it’s faulty it should cause a Code 11 to be present and the MIL light would be on. It might just be a bad connector on the dash unit or could be fault unit

Welcome to the Forum, would still think that its a connection issue if its intermitant , follow the wire down to the 3pin connector and check that

If the sensor disconnects then the fault code should be present, however if the dash pod has an iffy connector then it simply doesn’t work and there’s no codes...so I’d start that end and work back

Hi, so i had a look at connection at clock, all seems ok? Equally all electrical connection seems ok as well, so I'm gonna try disconnecting sensor to see if fault code appears on the readout, as suggested by 'machinehead'.
Thanks gents.
