Hey! Help needed.

Anyone experienced a spongy clutch on their fireblade. Specifically mine is an '07 model with 5,000 km's on it. When new the bike was new, the clutch biting point was precise. Now its a bit vague and feels a bit spongy, particluarly when setting off. Any ideas or adjustments?

Thanks in advance

Have you replaced the fluid?

Nope. Should it need it after 18 months and 5k's?
Probably.
Since you have problems with it I'd suggest replacing it before chasing other things.
Brake fluid has a maximum life of two years even if you don't use it but I recommend replacing it yearly if possible.
