on my 93 900RR is there a certain place that my wires should go into the starter relay? i always thought it didnt matter

i have a wiring diagram but it doesnt really tell :idunno:

I'm with you, I've always thought relays are a simple switch so direction doesn't matter.
Have you tried it both ways?
Have you connected 12V directly to the relay to see if it works?
Do you get power at the relay wires when you hit the starter button?

well long story short
my green/red clutch wire blows my fuse when connected to a certain end...but it wont blow when connected to another at the same time the bike wont crank

lol if you really want to try tackling that..check my "pulling out the 900" thread :rotfl:
